HENRY’S WOODS


Last fall a new trail was built in Lake Placid called “Henry’s Woods”. This trail is located behind Uihlein Mercy Center and is on their property as well. Currently Henry’s Woods consists of a .25 mile trail leading to a hilly 2 mile loop.

CONNERY POND/WHITEFACE LANDING


This is a great out and back to the shore of Lake Placid. With gradual elevation gain and good footing for the majority of the trail.

COBBLE HILL TRAIL’S


Many Adirondack towns have a small mountain that allows for a quick excursion and a view. Lake Placid’s “urban” getaway is Cobble Hill. This small peak located to the east of busy downtown and overlooking Mirror Lake. Cobble Hill is surrounded by many trails some wide and “smooth”, others are very steep and rocky. All together there is approximately 7 miles of trails to explore.

PINE POND

The Pine Pond Trail is a snowmobile/ATV trail located at the end of Averyville Road in Lake Placid. This is a wide rolling trail dirt trail with few rocks and the occasional root sections.  Since this trail is often used in the summer by atvs, motor bikes and mountain bikes it is wide and eroded. BREWSTER PENINSULA TRAILS

The Brewster Peninsula Trails in Lake Placid are a network of well used trails that total around 4 miles. This network is made up of 4 main trails, Boundary, Lakeshore, Ridge, Jackrabbit and a truck trail. It is a very compact arrangement of extremely well marked trails.
